Why Financial Stress will be Focused Primarily on Growth, Inflation and Central Bank Monetary Policymaking.

Join us at the Fundsgate Business Breakfast with Thornburg Investment Management for a discussion on the current investment landscape and specifically the fixed income market. We will be discussing why financial stress will be focused primarily on growth, inflation and central bank monetary policymaking. The challenges facing the global economy will not abate soon. With inflation now at 8.3%, the US Federal Reserve is trying to look as tough as possible. The market entertains a few different views about the trajectory for US inflation – as well as inflation elsewhere. We will share our thoughts on the US Federal Reserve’s three mandates and when might they pivot from their current position.

Expectations of continued volatility and market dislocations support the benefits of a flexible and diversified global fixed income investment portfolio. We will explore how Jeffrey and his team manage the Thornburg Multi-Sector Opportunities Strategy (available as a UCITS open-ended fund, Strategic Income Fund).
