Fundsgate expands its partnership with Green Ash Partners to distribute Chanos Equity Long/Short Fund
Lugano, Switzerland, 29 November 2022 - Fundsgate further extends its partnership with Green Ash Partners to distribute the Chanos Equity Long/Short Fund, a sub-fund of the Green Ash SICAV, following its successful launch in October 2022. The Chanos Equity Long/Short Fund marks the first sub-advisory venture for Green Ash, providing a complementary strategy to its existing range, managed by an external manager. The fund is sub-advised by Chaos & Company L.P. , one of the best-known short-sellers, which has successfully managed funds for over 20 years.
The aim of the Chanos Equity Long/Short Fund, distributed by Fundsgate in Southern Switzerland, is to achieve attractive risk-adjustment returns by implementing an equity/short strategy focusing primarily on short based alpha. The fund was launched with AuM of c. $20 million and is a Luxembourg-registered open-end UCITS fund with daily liquidity.
